Working with the talented healthcare team at NBBJ, we created several wood furniture solutions for the St. Michael Acute Care Expansion. The pieces, including veneer wrapped reception desks, benches, Fir beam occasional tables, and a standing height live edge Maple Ravenna Table all reinforce the facility’s connection to nature and community. The natural materials and limited color palette, give the facility a warmth not often felt in healthcare. Daylight fills the space and bounces off the wood, creating a calming and “living” tapestry of color, light, and shadows.
