Our Finishes
We offer a variety of standard finish tones and two top coat options. Variation in color and grain character are natural attributes inherent to solid wood. These swatches are meant to show general tendencies of color and grain character of various species that are frequently available, and are not meant to be used as control samples.
Polycarbonate topcoat
Our standard clear finish is a combination of exceptional durability and clarity in a satin sheen, water-based, non-yellowing finish. This is a low maintenance finish suitable for high use residential and light-use commercial settings.
VOC: 72 g/l topcoat, 52 g/l sealer
No ozone depleting substances
Tung oil topcoat
For the purists, we also offer a hand rubbed 100% botanical tung oil. This finish requires periodic maintenance to sustain its exquisite luster.

Product Care
To care for your furniture, take a “less is more” approach. For daily cleaning, a damp cloth is best. Add a little dish soap, if necessary.
We use the best environmentally safe furniture finish on the market. It should hold up to daily use, but can be damaged by standing water and heat.
Cleaning products containing ammonia may damage our standard finish. Window-cleaning products such as Windex or common kitchen counter sprays should not be used on wood furniture.
Avoid using any furniture polish containing silicone. This could cause problems with refinishing at a later date. We recommend Guardsman brand furniture polish, available online at http://www.guardsman.com.
