seattle convention center - summit building

bright, blush, & upholstered

It seems everyone is thinking pink lately and with our recent installation, we are joining the fun. Working with LMN Architects, we designed and crafted several lounge chairs and coffee tables for the Seattle Convention Center Summit building which are as eye-catching and engaging as the space itself.

The bright, fuchsia fabric, on the low, wood-framed chairs, adds a lovely pop of color and playfulness to the large, open space while also directing focus. While not our first project dealing with upholstery, this is our largest order to date. Utilizing the full in-house upholstery shop of our parent company, Coriander Designs, expands our reach and capabilities for our A&D and dealer partners.

Several of our Ozette coffee tables provide generous surface space at the perfect height for the low lounge chairs surrounding them. A recent add to our occasional table collection, Ozette offers a substantial visual weight - due to the 2" solid wood planked top and 4" veneer slab legs. The chairs and tables play well together as beautiful representations of functional works of art from wood with clean lines, detailed connections, and warm materials.
